BioIn the past 50 or so years, I've trained horses, worked at engineering, read science fiction, studied psi, done programming and web design, customer service, QA (2 or 3 more pages of jobs intentionally omitted), and then decided I wanted to become an artist. Right.
Never one to take the easy way to anything, my first project (just to get the feel of the programs) was a Tarot deck. After 78 different graphics and 6 major revisions, I've got the feel. Maybe. Now I'm in the middle of publishing the deck and trying to figure out where I'm going next. Artwork sales, 3D animations, game design ... I dunno yet, but it's fun looking and playing with various software packages.
